The water tank of this machine is installed obliquely, and the inclination angle is determined according to the equipment configuration in the process flow. The transmission device drives the spiral to rotate in the tank. The slurry enters the tank from the side feed inlet, and a slurry settlement area is formed at the lower end of the tank. Its surface area and volume are determined by the inclination angle of the tank and the height of the overflow weir. The low-speed rotating spiral can play a certain stirring effect.
The solid particles are different in size and density, so the settling speed in the liquid is different. The fine ore particles float in the water and overflow. The coarse ore particles sink to the bottom of the tank and are pushed upward by the screw.
